philwaters
Hi all, Managed to snap off my little plastic breather pipe on my axle last night - oh good i thought. I've ordered a new one from Caterham, but would prefer to rig up a catch tank for the oil that comes out. Does anybody out there know what the thread is. I've heard so far that it might be a 1/8" NPTF - is this right? Anyone done this mod and have suggestions? My axle has always leaked and I'm hoping this might fix it, if not then its an axle out job and pinion seal sad.gif Phil Waters Q181 ABL - 1600X/F smile.gif
Eugene
Im not sure what the thread is but Chris Wheeler at The 7 Workshop (www.7workshop.com) has fitted a length of brake pipe to where my breather is. If you do this you could run it into a catch tank easilly. Give him a call (contact details on the website). Small Boy - with Big Toy!
