CageyH
I have some of the excellent Spa mirrors mounted on the windscreen stanchions. The only problem is, every time I take some one out for a spin, I always have to re-adjust the mirror on the passenger side. At present I have always driven with the sidescreens on (only had car for three months!), and I was wondering if anybody had relocated the mirrors to a position on the side screens close to the windscreen/sidescreen hinges? As vibration seems to be a problem with the mirrors further down the side, I have been thinking about trying this location out. it should give better visibility, and a less vibration prone fixing. Has anybody already done this?
Tiff
I have had my Spa mirrors on the sidescreens on 2 caterhams, and also on the interchangeable aeroscreen with no problems. On the sidescreen I used one of the existing mirror holes and drilled a second fixing hole, and also a third for tightening the mirror arm. How do you tighten the mirror arm grubscrew if they are attached to the screen stanchion? If it is working loose with vibration it can't be tight enough.
