stutch
I'm thinking of fitting an FIA rollbar instead of the std. one. The mounting plate on the FIA bars seems to have a number of hole cutouts - are these to clear the suspension rod end etc, that is, does the bar attach to the chassis via the 4 conventional fastening points or is there more to it than that? Also, can you buy the foam seal that goes between the heater body and the car or is it fatser/cheaper to make your own? The car's a 1990 X-flow LC - thanks in advance. caterhamnut
With regards to the heater foam, it looks like nothing more exotic than sticky draft excluder foam from B&Q - guessing about £3 a roll - doble sided tape on one side. I am assuming it is not some heat proof stuff. 😬35,000 miles in 19 months! angus@tinyworld.co.uk Caterham pics here
