sgodfrey
I am running A021R tyres, and have a 1.8 supersport car. Is the dry sump really needed? or can I make do with the standard baffled sump and an increased oil level?
martinwhitcher
What are you planning doing with the car? Trackday or road?? Martin MW 51 CAT

martinwhitcher
Dry sump is the way to go then, halfway house would be anti-cav (min standard for acadamy racers). 21'r will/might overheat on a dry track. 32'r, avon cr500 or abc10 are best. Enjoy!! Martin MW 51 CAT
Peter Carmichael
A high oil level in the wet sump is disastrous for oil temperature leading to many problems. The dry sump also liberates a lot of power by letting the crankcase breathe properly from chamber to chamber.
