David_Stamp Posted January 6 Share Posted January 6 (edited) For sale is a Carbon Fibre and Aluminium Handbrake Sleeve made by another club member (mark_w) in small batches in 2022/2023. His original selling price was £55 including postage and I am offering this handbrake sleeve in 'very good condition' for £40 including UK postage. Please see photos attached. Details taken from mark_w's original Blatchat post are: "30mm dia 120mm long , diagonal style weave, 2 different style anodised aluminium ends with 2x M5 grub screw fixing. I have tried to simplify the fitting by machining out a bit of clearance for the weld that is found under the handle once the grip is removed" I bought this from mark_w on here in 2022 and used it for 18 months very happily. It looks good and suits the recent Caterham trend for black colour and carbon fibre appearance features. My Roadsport SV is 2012 vintage and perhaps the carbon fibre look is not for me. I have now replaced it with one of the Caterham black aluminium handbrake sleeves. As noted above I will send it Royal Mail post included (UK only) for £40.00 total cost.
