ECR
If I use this, can I remove the plate reasonably easily?
Amos91
Yes works fine. Buy the heavy duty velcro coins like this -https://www.screwfix.com/p/velcro-brand-black-heavy-duty-stick-on-coins-6-pieces/32960
GulfSeven
I've done my front and rear plates using Clear 3M Dual Lock Tape.https://www.3m.co.uk/3M/en_GB/p/d/b40072057/It's super strong (you can pull the car forward by the front plate) but also easy to take the plates off by peeling them from one side. I regularly take mine off to wash the car. Unlike Velcro it's plastic so doesn't lose strength when its wet and you can wash out anything that gets trapped in it with a hose. 7 wonders of the world
3M dual lock tape available in 3 'strengths' the more heads the tighter t locks
GulfSeven
The one I used has the code SJ3560 if that helps? It's the exact one in the link, bought on Amazon.
ECR
Thanks...how much of the 3560 do you use. I guess the more you use the harder it is to "peel" the plate...
GulfSeven
Two strips, top and bottom on the rear plate. Two strips next to each other under the grill for the front plate. So measure your plates to see how much you need
KnifeySpoony
I just use 4 little squares (maybe 2cm at each corner) and it's plenty strong.

anthonym
I've ordered some: (Amazon Germany)https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Dual-Lock-3550-Velcro-Tape/looks more reliable than my double sided tape - for my front plate, when in residence.
Simon420R
3M Dual Lock is great stuff. I've used it for my numberplates for the last year. As has been said above you can move the car with the 'plates once in place.
