wild bill Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 Well i'm coming up stumped. My number1 ignition lead (plug furthest from bulkhead) has corroded and jumps off. I'll order a new set I thought. They arrived and are way too long.The one on Caterham parts online for no 1 looks extremely short and the new duratec's use coilovers.My car is a 2.3 duratec conversion from K series. Does anyone know of a part number? The current leads are Lucas and do not have the part number on them. I only need one lead but happy to get a set i'm just struggling to find the right ones.Help BC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Area Representative Geoff Brown Posted January 19, 2023 Area Representative Share Posted January 19, 2023 So....if your DURATEC does not have coilover ignition modules but simple push on connectors at both ends then one can DIY ignition leads.Plenty of kit around to do this & on line tutorials.
