wpqs
Does anyone know where I can get an official copy of the emissions in grams per kilometer for 2002 Roadsport SV with K-series 1.6 litre engine?I recently registered my car in Malta and discovered the new log book stated the emissions as 251 g/Km. It's not clear where they got this figure from, but it seem high. Interestingly anything less than 250 g/Km would cost only EUR 600 per year for road tax rather than EUR 1200.Will
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted February 25, 2022 Leadership Team Share Posted February 25, 2022 According to Wikipedia the CO2 emissions figure for a 1999 - 2005 Rover 216 is 164 g/km, however if it was not tested in a Caterham install it might by default be "251 or over". You could try to argue your case though.Wiki linkStu.
simon_h
I'd just be grateful they registered it tbh.A UK car has no co2 figure as it wasn't tested. If there was an equivalent EU version to yours back then that's what someone has used I expect. Or as said above they couldn't find anything recorded and went worse case which is still better than a 'no you cant register that'.
