For Sale: 2014 Mercedes C63 AMG

As some of you know, I have been thinking about selling on my C63 coupe and the time has finally come.

In short: 41500 miles (still in use so might go up slightly), FSH, Recent full body respray by Mercedes under warranty, 6.3L V8, lots of goodies!

The red paint on Mercedes cars is notorious for micro blistering and peeling, sadly a fact that I did not know when I bought the car. A few months back, I noticed some peeling over the rear wheel arch.

 

Reported to Merc who carried out an inspection, found other issues and offered to carry out a full respray under goodwill warranty. Fair play to then as it was a 4 week, back to bare metal job!

 

Moral of the story.. Don't buy an Opal red Merc, unless of course the issue has been addressed like in this case.
