A friend of mine is selling his spare Sigma 1.6 VVTi engine as used in the official Caterham Motorsport 310R championships. it is on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163213778021. I can put you in touch with him if you are interested.

This is a 152HP Caterham 310R specification engine.

This is a complete engine assembly and standard flywheel.

Please note: it does not come with:

throttle body
clutch plate

It has MSA seals in place for racing and has the Caterham wet sump fitted.

The engine was power tested in January 2018 and had a rating of 141.3 HP at the wheels (equivalent to 152.6 HP at the flywheel)

A new unit supplied by Caterham would be £4100 ex VAT (£4920 inc)

The engine came supplied with a 2014 Caterham Academy car and been upgraded through the racing ladder (4 years) up to 310R specification.

It therefore has a very low mileage at roughly 12,000 - 15,000 miles since new.

It's done around 2,000 miles since it was converted to 310R specification and one race weekend since the power test was completed this year. (The car achieved a podium at Snetterton this year with the engine.)

The engine is available from pickup only at DPR Motorsport, Redhill, Surrey.
