GPBox
Hi all, looking to replace the crappy plastic catch tank (located driver side/front of car), with a Mocal Alloy tank fitted to bulkhead (where hater used to be). 2003 car with dry sump/bell housing.this tank: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/mocal-alloy-oil-catch-tank-245403/Is the 1Litre ok ?..spotted a few old BC posts that confirmed that.WRT connections, current plastic tank has one pipe connected into top of bottle, assume that pipe routes to one of Mocal connections....what goes on the other connection?..just a drain pipe to bottom of car somewhere ??Finally, does it matter that new position for catch tank is much higher than current tank ?...ie gravity plays no part here?thanks allGraham
OrangeSLR
Normally fit a breather on the other connection.
