whatsup
hi has anyone fitted powerflex bushes to the upper wishbone small bush to an imperial chassis 7 the reason for asking is, the bolts supplied are the metric size (larger size about 9.5mm against the imperial size about 8 mm). therefore the bolts will not fit in the chassis, powerflex state they have not been aware of this and simon at metor reiterate this statement. is it just me do i have an odd chassis the 7 not me over to the pobc. thanks for looking
Pendennis
The bolts in your chassis are imperial but whatever Powerflex supply they obviously should fit. I have a 96 Imperial chassis with Powerflex bushes. Are you referring to the front bush and the shank of the bolt is too wide for the hole in pick up point? whatsup
thats right did you fit them or did someone else
Pendennis
I fitted them they fitted okay in mine, suppose you could drill out the hole slightly but first I suggest you try and get Pwerflex to address the issue. There are many variants in the front ends of our cars which Powerflex may not know about but they should address this for you.
whatsup
hi could you just verify were the bolts supplied metric (16mm spanner size or imperial 1/2" spanner size} also what year is you 7 and when did you fit them, hopefully i can then go back to powerflex. thanking you in advance frank
Pendennis
Hi, car is 96. The bolts are metric, HEX end is indeed 16mm spanner and the nut is 13mm, thus the thread is 8mm. I fitted them in 2012.

Simon.Rogers
I hace spoken to Powerflex this morning as they rang about another issue,The shank on the bolt is 3/8ths just as the original bolt size. Not sure therefore what is going on with your car.
