Leadership Team 700newtons Posted December 3, 2014 Leadership Team Share Posted December 3, 2014 Does it go nylon side in, or nylon side out? My guess is that it should be nylon side in, so that the flat end goes against the track rod end.advice welcome!
6speedmanual
Do you mean the lock nut for the trackrod to trackrod end?Normally this is not a nyloc, just a plain thin nut.The nuts which hold the trackrod end pin into the steering arm are nyloc and go on with the plain threaded part first, the nyloc ring hitting the threads last.Peter
Leadership Team 700newtons Posted December 3, 2014 Author Leadership Team Share Posted December 3, 2014 Ah yes, thanks. I picked up the wrong nuts (but they happened to fit). Ok now...
