Guest
What would the good POBC recommend? I have a 1.8 2004 non-VVC R300, and as I've not had to do anything to the engine myself, I'm not sure which what size is required. I thought there'd be plenty of BCers who have bought one, so over to you!
Ozzy
Anything will do, as they all come with thread adaptors. Halfords, motor factors etc. You don't need a really expensive one, as all you're interested in, is are all the readings the same on all pots. Highly unlikely you'll have 4 duff cylinders. Oz. johnv
why do you need one? I have one you can borrow if it's just a one off .. come down to the next ReHaB meet for a refreshing cocktail and we'll measure them for you
Guest
Oil consumption was a little higher than I expected on the Folembray jaunt, so just fancy a quick check to make sure nothing serious. I'll probably get one anyway, rather than borrow, though cheers JV! Mine's a Pina Colada
