ParsleyTheLion Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Hi, I plan to upgrade from the standard to track day roll over bar on my 2012 SV. How much of the rear suspension do I have to remove to gain access to fit the two bolts from below? Does anyone who has done this before have any hints or tips to help the swap go smoothly? Thanks. OliW Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Very easily done. Jack up car at the back, remove wheels and dampers only, unbolt underneath if standard bar is bolted (don't think it is). Markiebabes Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 fairly easy swap Remove rear shocks (Bottom first) support dedion once rear shocks are off Use a cut down socket for removal of bolts as the head is cut down (if not you'll round off head ) unbolt roll bar refit new one 😬 I did this with a few cages and it's very straight forward  HTH  Must type faster  Edited by - markiebabes on 11 Apr 2014 17:22:37 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
