Urgent change to a PRRT

It's really very easy to do if you have the parts... All you need over the standard system is the PRRT itself, a 45 degree hose and a T-piece. Drain, pop the old stat out the housing, butcher it to turn it into a spacer ring, replace, cut the bottom hose, insert PRRT (the right way round!), cut the top hose and insert the T, then connect the PRRT and T with the 45 degree hose. Refill, leave overnight, top up, run around the block, top up if necessary. No filling issues like you get with the standard system, and you can leave the bypass pipe in, no need to blank it. I'd offer you a hand, but I'm a tad busy this week ☹️

Hi Richard,

The PRRT is a standard Landrover part (I believe it is PEL500110) - I know someone who can probably get it for you if you get stuck.

There's a thread about installing it here but read it all the way through before starting!

If you want someone to do it for you near SW London then you could try:

> Mick at Redline in Caterham Town 01883 346515

> Andy at Tech-7s 07798 733020 Redhill RH1 2JU

> James Whiting, Ashford Middlesex TW15 here

Or maybe there is a local member with the knowledge and time to give you a hand?
