cskip Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Can someone explain the difference between a Live Axle and Dedion cage? Specifically around the mounting plate at the top of the rear damper. If you have a photo of either a Live Axle or Dedion cage that shows the mounting point can you share it? De-dion - mounting plate by damper - has a "cotton bobbin" shaped lump on the bottom of the plate which fits into the recess in the chassis.
