Tables resize when hovering over embedded link or image

Hi Barry,

Is it just me? Since upgrading (by mistake.. oh well) to IE 9, Tables rezize when hovering over embedded link or images in the forum.

It causes the display to jump to the left as the 1st column on the screen becomes more narrow.

Happens to me as well. I couldn't see what the cause was but I'll try to replicate Rich's post.

On Win 7 with IE 9 not at home at the min but I'll look at it and report back.

Not a big issue but slightly annoying when you're not expecting it.

Ok, is this interesting or not...

I've discovered that if someone (like 'Ric') links to a broken link as he did like this then the tables don't jump when I move over it.

However, if you fix the link for him like this then we jump.

Edit to add: NOPE, that's not the case.. I'll link to Ric's post where it doesn't jump, but it does in my example above.

Actually it seems to be we don't 'jump' when the hyperlinks are contained within a quote. 😬 Confirmed.

Hi guys..

Just wondering if my £42 subs (just paid) could be dedicated to fixing the jumping hyperlink issue seein with IE9 and "In The Office" unless the hyperlink is contained within a quote box please

😬 *thumbup* *wavey*
