Rich N
Hi Barry, Is it just me? Since upgrading (by mistake.. oh well) to IE 9, Tables rezize when hovering over embedded link or images in the forum. It causes the display to jump to the left as the 1st column on the screen becomes more narrow. Edited by - Rich N on 30 Apr 2012 20:43:
Site Manager
Hi Rich, I'm on 9.0.8112.16421 on Vista, I can't reproduce this. Does it happen with the other style sheets? Can you clear cookies and see if that changes anything?
Scoops
Happens to me as well. I couldn't see what the cause was but I'll try to replicate Rich's post. On Win 7 with IE 9 not at home at the min but I'll look at it and report back. Not a big issue but slightly annoying when you're not expecting it. Rich N
Ok, This only happens when I use 'In The Office', which I always do because I always am 😬 I've cleared cookies, but at least we know it's an ITO theme issue and a couple of us can see it not just me. Site Manager
Sorry, haven't found the cause of this yet.
Rich N
Ok, is this interesting or not... I've discovered that if someone (like 'Ric') links to a broken link as he did like this then the tables don't jump when I move over it. However, if you fix the link for him like this then we jump. Edit to add: NOPE, that's not the case.. I'll link to Ric's post where it doesn't jump, but it does in my example above. Rich N
Quoting Rich N: Ok, is this interesting or not... However, if you fix the link for him like this then we jump. Actually it seems to be we don't 'jump' when the hyperlinks are contained within a quote. 😬 Confirmed. Rich N
Hi guys.. Just wondering if my £42 subs (just paid) could be dedicated to fixing the jumping hyperlink issue seein with IE9 and "In The Office" unless the hyperlink is contained within a quote box please 😬
Site Manager
Aha, I can see what you mean now. It seems that it does this when *not* in compatibility mode.
Rich N
Ah... Compatibility Mode does indeed fix it thanks.. that's almost good enough for me! £21 left then, i'll spend that on some other request 😬
Site Manager
Think I've fixed it in standard mode too.

Site Manager
Scoops, normal procedure is to clear cookies and try again, NB if you have any settings such as whether to display pictures in posts then you'll need to re-save those via your profile.
