Gulf Oil Link I currently have Motul 300v 10w40 fully synthetic race oil in my 1600k Roadsport A. Any reason why I shouldnt switch to the Gulf seeing as at the current price it is a shed load cheaper than the £30 per 2 litres that the Motul is? I only ask because from searching on here and other forums I use, no-one seems to have mentioned Gulf engine oil before so I feel like I'm being a bit of a Maverick! The Motul and Gulf are both ester oils so I imagine the performance will be very similar. I'm not one for being dragged in to heavy conversation about oil as it's probably as case that if you use any good quality branded oil and keep the grade to one of 5w40, 10w40, 5w50, 10w50, 0w40 or in the case of Minister engines 15w50 then you can't really go wrong.
