Cadilock 2000 immobiliser and Cadilock Alarm

I read this review today

review

the immobiliser is here Cadilock 2000

and the alarm version Cadilock Alarm

Maybe I am being a bit thick but this system seems to provide virtually no security in a tip top and none in a Seven.

5 seconds with a jump lead on the immobiliser version (from the battery terminal to the Cadilock unit terminal )and say 10 seconds on the alarm with a pair of wire cutters for the alarm and then a jump lead.

Or am I missing something? 😳

I initially looked at the review and thought 'great some security for the Seven'. But now I think the ignition key and removal of the 'big red key' would be just as effective.
