Tiny Tim
I assume that for SBD Direct to Head throttle bodies a bonnet with a special cut out is required. i.e the cutout on the bonnet for carbs is not in the right place! ECR
Yes, the cutout is not in the right place. The DTH bodies are not cranked as per the Caterham manifold so either a new modified bonnet is required or you can carefully modify the existing one
Paul Deslandes
Aha! So Tim, are you going for injection at last? I found that, used carefully, a junior hacksaw blade in a padsaw handle was ideal for roughly cutting out the larger hole and then finishing off the last 5mm or so with a flapwheel in a flexible drive worked very well. It took a while but gave lots of control over the final cut. Paul
