The hum of my tin-top's aircon, the quiet, modulated tones of the Radio 4 announcer, broken for a moment by the flash - and snarl - of a Blue Caterham going the other way. Beautiful afternoon for it! Wife and I had been up the west side of Devon, called in at Midway, across the top, and down the east side, 225 miles in all today. Face as red as a beetroot.
