dalongbloke
Hi helpers (!), running Avon 185/70 13s on live axle sprint. The forum seems to favout 18ish psi, but as soon as I get anywhere near this low, car seems to bounce around too much. Hal (the 7) seems much happier around 22 psi. How do you guys run yours? All input appreciated
Graeme Smith
I take it that's Avon CR322s? A long time since I've run them, but I think it was ~18psi on the road (24psi on the track)
MADMALC
That is 18psi 'cold', which could turn out to be over 20 when hot. S7MAD
Z3MCJez
The Academy have been given suggested track PSI of 26-30 for CR322s. I'm running 27 front and 28 rear at the moment. If I'm out for a road blat I run about 20 cold. Jez Build Photos
dalongbloke
Thanks guys. Tried 19psi yesterday. Same route and approx temp today on 24psi... MUCH more stable, not tramlining or bouncing around, but easily provoked slow exit oversteer (!). Ride quality about the same. will be trying 22 again tomorrow... S47zz
I use 16 front 18 rears cold, any more any & I get the bouncy effect you mention which disappears when pumped up to 22 front and rear cold
