Andy Whittle
Ideally I want two (I talk to myself enough already) but one would be considered. Pretty please I am Leg End...
Vinnie_Hki
Andy, Just a thought, hope you find some, but are you aware how easy it is to make your own for a lot less than Autocom charge? Vinnie
Andy Whittle
Hi Vinnie, no I didn't know you create your own. I have the earpiece for a helmet, can you use these somehow? Any advice (and money saving ideas) welcome. cheers Andy I am Leg End...
Vinnie_Hki
Hi, Yep, you can take the Autocom "in helmet" unit and install it quite easily into a set of ear defenders. Recently I acquired a second Autocom unit from Ebay complete with two helmet type headsets. Then I acquired two sets of Peltor Optime II ear defenders and installed the headset into the ear defenders. The only slightly tricky part is the mic boom, but that can be solved in about five minutes with some heatshrink cover. Perhaps it would be better to move the discussion to Tech talk or by email Vinnie
