AJ Sagar
I have looked and looked and cannot find any history of anyone having a similar problem. I want to replace the bush in the trunnion where it connects to the lower wishbone. However the repair kit I have and the one shown on the Caterham website is all nylon top-hats, washers and seals but the gap in the wishbone is only the width of the brass trunnion with no space for the top-hats etc. The one I have taken out has a bush and sleeve that is all within the overall length of the trunnion. This will obviously mean nothing to anyone that has not been through the same problem but I hope that there is someone out there that will tell that historically there were two different designs and two overhaul kits available - - - - -. Dave H
Or try giving Redline a call. I'm sure they will be able to sort out what you need. Dave H
AJ Sagar
Thank you for your suggestions. Apparently on the later models (mine is 2000) they replaced the top-hats and everything with a metalastic bush that I have now ordered - lets see if I can press it in!
