There will be classes (based on engine size & tyres) for Sevens in the Championship and in two of the challenge series. There are also likely to be a selection of handicap and all-comer races. So no excuses, get your licence sorted, service the car and come and play... (and the Awards Dinner Dance is Sat 1st Mar if anyone wants to come and party..) ************************************************************** Saloon and Sports Championship The successful SEMSEC Saloon & Sports Championship continues in 2008 with Category A for Intermediate Saloons and Modified Saloons Sports Cars competing for the SEMSEC Saloon & Sports Champion title whilst Category B will again be for Kit Cars, Sports Racing Cars and sports prototypes competing for the Sports Racing and Kit Car Champion title. Both categories are anticipated to consist of 14 races at 7 double header meetings. Rounds are planned for... Saturday 29th March 2008 Lydden SEMSEC Saturday 26th April 2008 Brands Hatch CSCC Saturday 31st May 2008 Lydden SEMSEC Saturday 12th July 2008 Lydden SEMSEC Saturday 6th September 2008 Brands Hatch SEMSEC Saturday 27th September 2008 Lydden SEMSEC Saturday 25th October 2008 Lydden SEMSEC Challenge Series for 2008 SEMSEC also intends to run the following challenge series with races at each of its 2008 meetings.
