Delbert
I've got one of these "new" improved starter motors coming form CC today. Do I still fit it with the spacer ring in place???? (1800 K series , VHPD primaries, SV) It better fit, the parts dept didn't fill this inept mechanic with confidence and I'll be rather mad if I miss another Trackday due to dead car ☹️ If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you
Jason Plato
I thought it clashed with the primaries - unless you have the left hand drive primaries on number 3&4 cylinders , which were std issue as from about 2005 >
Stuart Faulds
It doesn't use a spacer ring, but I suspect you're breaking new ground by fitting one with VHPD SV primaries.
Delbert
There is going to be a rocket going to Dartford if it doesn't fit... I asked on 3 occasions does this fit , I cannot afford another missed trackday I'm pensive to say the least If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you
Delbert
It fits, took 10minutes and no need for special spanners However it doesn't seem to spin the engine as rapidly. Anyway she runs again at last If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you
mav
Have faith in yourself. As we discussed, I told you it would be fine 😬
