Heres Jonny
Hi All, Hoping someone can give me some good advice! Driving early going fine, fuel into, start her up and a bloody awful mechanical sound...... 😳 Didnt drive it, thought better to be towed home. Upon inspection, somehow a small bolt has ended up wedged between the top right hand pulley behind the cam cover. I am no mechanic but I know thats not right, removed the rocker cover and managed to remove the offending article. It starts fine, but the right pulley has moved forward approx 3mm, and doesnt look true? The bolt has gauged the inside rear of the cam pulley There is a slight tinney sound coming from the engine, and the rocker cover has minor danage also to the block, I have tightened the cover up and run it in the garage, but it seems not to leak oil. I think I have already make my decision it needs a new pulley, by a professional, but any futher checks I can do before it goes for a check up! Looking forward to all opinions. Can mail photos if anyone is interested, Slightly dinted English pride and stuck in Holland on a tow rope!!!!! 🙆🏻
