Robster
Why do I take the car to bits when it is working???? Well, it is working again, having taken the dizzy to bits to inspect! Xflow, 1800. The car runs on all four cylinders and idles well, but now, if I take the lead off no 4 cylinder, the engine instantly dies completely. If I take a lead off any other cylinder, it runs on three but does not die...any ideas??? The dizzy is electronic ignition (Aldon unleaded), I have inadvertantly had the little magnets out...but they are back in again.
Robster
I have worked it out! The small magnets in the rotating part of the sensor in the dizzy have to have the polarity the correct way round!
CHRIS CLARK
They say that a man who talks to himself is on the brink of madness; but on-line? I know. The only way you can get a sensible conversation!!!
