About this message board

Dorset & Wessex 7s - Test

Notes for DSM - still learning and exploring....

This is only visible to me and invitees.
Can anyone see this eg If a link to this 'page' is sent via WhatsApp to other areas  - Yes
Can an HTML file be attached? No, all images and formatting are lost.
Can text content be controlled/limited to the displayed image size in pixels? eg image of 675 equals
approximately 91 characters No (so far)
Shift+Enter = New line
What text appears as the heading?
Raising the Blog in Area News.
Cannot simply copy raised completed newsletter all images require individual entry - a laborious process 😞
Keyboard mishaps can sometimes be recovered using CTRL+Z
Whilst editing at the end of an entry the edit controls are out of sight at the top of the screen.
Font wanted is 16  (how to set default font size?) Font may possibly be changed using CTRL+A
Date Header font is Arial 14 Bold in Snagit
Max. total size doesn't allow for images and say a pdf of reasonable resolution to be uploaded.
Table: 700 x 1 x 1  cell 15 pad (625)
Do not copy images, use the 'Drag or choose' method (copying results in a 5 times greater than orig jpg png file)
Never delete table content - table will disappear. Always copy over the existing content.
PDF Files when clicked will download to device.
Unfinished 'Blog' in Area News managed to lose some 20 or so images! 🥵

Cannot copy tables from here to Area without them losing their formatting.

How can I set default font to 16?
How can I copy tables from here to the Area blog/message?
Why did first blog lose 20 or so images and a pdf file? (apparently the web deletes 'old' images (although the ~20 were recent...) so down to 'housekeeping')
No way of editing/reformatting an existing table (?)(In most PC progs, rt click will show 'edit properties')
Why do some images remain at the foot of the newsletter outside the table?

R Rumblings:

Hi everyone, I hope you've been managing to avoid the April showers and have a bit of fun in your 7s.

It was good to see a well attended club night this month and many thanks to Ian for the incentive to get to the pub (Blue rolls for everyone!).

I also look forward to seeing Ben's 7 back on the road now that his head light issue is resolved

The action in Formula 1 is more exciting off the track than on it and I see that Adrian Newey is reported to leave Red Bull soon. Let's hope it improves the racing more than the last set of rule changes did!

All the best

Richard
