About this message board

Hi all and welcome to Wales West (Nomads)...

We are a small but perfectly formed group of Seven enthusiasts that are lucky enough to sit in a part of Wales that boasts some of the best blatting territory in the UK. Rural Wales has lots to offer the discerning Seven driver, breath takings views interspersed with jaw dropping tarmac, no main arterial trunk roads here just miles of the smaller veins of driving purist heaven... The A4069 Black Mountain pass, a favourite with car mag test drivers, bikers and petrolheads a plenty... Link that into the Abergwesyn Pass running out of Llandovery past my place out to the Black Mountains.. Llanwrtyd Wells and on to Tregaron through a brutally wild landscape of moors, not to mention the series of hairpins called the Devil’s Staircase, did I mention picturesque pubs...

We have the Brecon National park and the Black Mountains, we've also got beaches!! Shout out to our members in Pembrokeshire, now there's a drive to be had!! So if you're passing, re-located for the long term, been lucky enough to be born and bred and the owner of a Seven give us a shout

"Nomads" the definition...

Wikipedia - Nomad
"A nomad is a member of a community of people who live in different locations, moving from one place to another in search of grasslands for their animals".

Oxford Dictionary - "Nomad a member of a community that moves with its animals from place to place". (The Tuareg are the largest tribe of nomads in the desert. They were nomads who hunted game and tended their herds of cattle).

Pete's definition - Member of a community (Lotus Seven Club) yep! That moves with its animals (Caterham Sevens) yep! From one place to another in search of grasslands (twisty tarmac) double yep!!
