Regulations & bated breath

Seems a long time since the last blog post, so I wonder where the month has gone. the Curborough regulations and championship regulations have been submitted, with the permits for both Curborough rounds coming through quite quickly, but still chasing the championship permit. Championship entries are steadily coming in but looks like I'll be digging up some incriminating photo's for those who have not sent one in. Regulations, Regulations and more Regulations

So this week sees us preparing for this weekends management team meeting, the club holds 4 management teams over the year and already has a full agenda, some old hands but quite a few new faces taking up the volunteer roles that help the club to operate. Still trying to finalise the regulations after receiving more conflicting information, we are trying to have the regulations issued in draft format for the 14th February, and open the championship entries at the same time, (fingers crossed)

A Year in the life of a Comp Sec.

So i thought i'd try and document a year in the life of the comp sec,  Normally when theres a changeover theres a transition period of a couple of months before the official handover, this year for one reason and another I wasn't accepted into the post until 18th December so that the transition has been a bit fast tracked, but as i've been involved in the regulations committee things didn't come as too much of a shock.  So following on from Pauls successful voting at the tech forum, a cross sect
