  1. Further to some of the questions

Oliver from Germany you did not send me your email details as you PMd me please send and I will send photos.

Car is a 5 speed and I believe does not have LSD but will check, I don't think they had as std in the series in 2005. It now has leather seats and a std roll bar so no cage or tillet, I have put in a mechanical oil pressure gauge., it has over mats and an outdoor cover with it. Car has an FIA cut out switch and a windscreen which is of course heated.

The wheels are 15 inch but can easily be changed back to 13 as I have the stays and a spare set of correctly painted mudguards that of course come with the car.

Yes I will split the car and trailer but only when the car purchaser tells me he doesn't want the trailer and an amicably deal is done.

The suspension is the race adjustable shocks as originally fitted and have been flat floored for myself and the 15 inch wheels (which are compomotive).

Yes I am open to sensible offers but wont be giving the car away cos I do actually love it.

  2. Its a sad day today....

I have decided to sell my Caterham its a 2005 Ex academy properly 05 Registered, fully converted for road use, 15" wheels but can be easily converted back to 13".

Has Windscreen and Roll Bar and is painted in Gulf Racing colours. Its a known car and completed the Hot Potato tour last year, in fact the only miles I have put on it in the last 2 years! :-(

For sale with a BJ twin axle trailer, pictures of course on request.

I am intending to purchase a 996 or miley 997 or possible an SLK and would consider a part ex for the right car with cash either way!

    Price as above £13,500

  3. Well worth going, I went on sunday, not overhead for very long, if you are taking pictures keep to the left of the flight line as the static lanc is placed so that's where to get the three together.

FWI it took 2 hours to get out of the car park so sit back and chill after the show, take a picnic for the end wait.

As I said well worth it, btw they also display at Duxford on Sunday (the two flying ones)

    😬 *wavey* 😬 *wavey*

  4. I have decided to sell a low miles MX5 I bought to convert to a track day car but quite honestly its too nice and I don't have time for TDs at present so it has to go!

Anyone interested at £2985 PM for pics and more details

Can be despatched in either a cardboard box or black plastic bin bag.

Believed to be from 4 different originals but all parts there to make a whole unit?

Quite right, I did own a Submariner but it didn't keep good time, in fact rubbish *thumbdown*

I spent most of my working life in the North Sea with a Sieko (pepsi) divers watch which had a rubber strap. BTW Hot water suits were very unreliable and froze your nuts off more times than burnt you 😬

Have an Omega Bond Watch now which seems ok over last 12 years *thumbup*

But still have trusty Sieko which joins me each year on our trip to the Indian Ocean.

  7. I believe the difference between Sea Dweller and Submariner is the Sea Dweller has a Helium relief Valve to let expanded gas escape from the inside of the watch during decompression, aimed at the commercial oil (saturation) Divers during the late 70's and Eighties.

Helium molecules will seep through metal given enough time!

The Submariner does not need the valve as Submariners retain the subs at pretty much atmospheric pressure.

So how do I know? well a clue is "I have never been in a Submarine" but have been in a commercial Saturation system" 😬

  8.
