  1. Hi Everyone,

Momentous moment, but I have now decided to retire gracefully from competition, not an easy decision, as I am sure you will all understand. However the drug has kept me at it for 22 years, it's difficult to kick and I shall miss it enormously and of course you lot, but it now seems the right time, I am in my 79 year, although that has nothing to do with it really. In truth I am actually 35 after all.

I will say it has been a fantastic 22 years with all of you, many really good friends, the banter, the support when needed always available and there have been a few moments!! Aah, several I have to say. So a big thank you to all for that. I shall keep in touch and follow the results, old habits impossible to kick and will support Adam whenever possible, who continues with the little car.

Good luck to everyone for the coming season.

    Best wishes

    Roger

  2. What an eventful final weekend and well done Charlie, really great result.

Let me also give a big thank you to John Clark, Paul Collins and of course Dan Malkin for helping fix our electrical gremlin and also to Mrs Winston for the continuous dressings to Adam's finger after his rather alarming burn from an over heating ring. (from car electrics, nasty)

Without all that help our weekend would have finished without a run on Saturday morning. Fantastic club comradery, as usual. So appreciated

Best to all for the off season.

  3. We just picked up on the changes. Chris and Family you have been stupendous and the three musketeers have big boots to follow, but I am sure they will, we can all help.

Well done Graham, Paul  &  Alan for picking up the reins. We might get a few in this season so I had better register!!

    Catch up some time

    Best to all

    Roger

  4. Hi Mike, many thanks for the offer. We are getting the car back from Northampton this week. They haven't done anything except take the head off. We are then going to have a careful look. Andrew Revill is coming over to help. We will probably take it out because I want to check clutch etc. If we find it is all rubbish, then we will be in touch.

Agreed Richard. My motto has always been, no pain without gain!!

Alan, I presume you meant 8500.......

    Best to all

    Roger

  5. Our engine is currently at our friends Northampton Motorsport. Gasket let go on no 3 cylinder, let water in of course and ruined liner. Advice is a rebuild, approx £5000 +vat.(taking out, doing, putting back)

Before we embark on this anyone got one for sale, 1600 K, ported, verniers etc

    April's looming!!

    Best to all

    Roger & Adam
