Yes, I am definitely local - ever since we moved to our current house we have never been quite sure whether to say we are in Frogmore or Darby Green so probably no more than half a mile from you!

Brian, that was my tube that you welded in the car park in Avigliana in 2009 so thank you again for that

It was good enough to get me safely back to the UK where of course I had it replaced immediately for whatever was the latest type at the time

This morning before 8 on Lower Sandhurst Road - yellow or orange with a green stripe?  I was on my bike with orange lenses in my glasses so not entirely sure of the colour.  I would have waved but I think that my hands were frozen to my handlebars   At least you looked well wrapped up against the cold

I have a set of 5 13 inch wheels that I no longer need.  They currently have Yoko 21s on them.  Let me know if you are interested.

I was on my way to and from James Whiting in Ashford and it felt like I was taking a chance not fitting the half hood for the return journey but luckily I got away with only a few spots of rain actually making it into the cabin.

I would be interested in this if it turns out that neither Alan nor John want to proceed - my existing Autocom has been dodgy for some time and finally gave up on the recent Wight Blat so I need to find a replacement.

I picked up my car from James Whiting yesterday and I asked about the weight of the new tube but he had not been able to weigh it because his scales did not get back from the menders until after he had fitted the tube to my car...

You'll have to wait a little while longer for an answer - I am currently in the departure lounge at Montreal airport waiting for the flight home

I plan to pick the car up from James Whiting either Wednesday or Thursday and I will let you know any information that I may get regarding weights then.

Yesterday I made a posting in the For Sale in Aid of Nuke the Luke section

here to advertise that I wanted to dispose of (i.e. they are free ) my old copies of Classic and Sports Car, but I can see from the number of viewings that the NtL section doesn't get so much attention so I have added this cross-forum post in the hope that someone might want them in exchange for a small donation to charity.

I am looking to dispose of my old copies of Classic and Sports Car magazine and while I understand that they do not have much of a sale value I would hope that anyone who is interested in them would be willing to make a small contribution to Nuke the Luke in exchange.

The copies that I have run from July 1999 through to April 2006 inclusive without any missed issues. That of course means the complete calendar years of 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

I would be happy to supply any individual copy, for example if there is a particular article that was of interest or perhaps if you are a collector of the magazine but missed a particular issue.

If you are interested in taking any of these off my hands then please let me know, otherwise they will be going to the recycling centre in the New Year...

Don't worry Myles, they all do that.

I have been told that it happens when the radiator fan is running when you switch off. Even if that is not the right explanation, I *know* that it's still not a problem.

Yes 4 would be better than 2, but there again 2 would be better than none!

To be honest I wasn't too sure about how much, although I was thinking in the region of £50 for all 4.

Let me know if you're still interested on that basis or if you're still only interested in 2.
