One up today at 1650 on Crofton Road heading towards Orpington Station. The sun was in my eyes but I think the registration was AIJ 9996. The car looked stunning in the bright sunlight. Peter

I think this may be the car belonging to the father of one of the coaches at Bromley Tennis Centre. The owner isn't a club member to my knowledge. Peter

The clear perspex on my block has cracked, so I'm looking for a replacement, either just perspex or the whole block. Peter

Dave Andrews fitted and set up my verniers on my R300K many years ago. Give him a call and take his advice. (I can't recall what make mine are.) Peter

In dark green in Orpington today.
What a pig ugly Stevie Wonder styled lump of expensive metal! It looks like one of those badly modified Austin Ambassador type cars seen in India with a RR Grille hammered onto the front of the bonnet.

Piers - my Spotted post of 11 July may be relevant: "Keep the eyes peeled in Hythe and surrounds
The tennis coach who leads my cardio tennis exercise class on Thursday morning is a young petrolhead saving to get enough £££s to insure a 09 plate Alfa.
We talk a fair bit about cars between exercises - rather he talks, I gasp - while the women there chat about less interesting stuff. His father has bought a Seven on a 19 plate which he drove down to Le Mans. The tennis chappy doesn't know which model and the one photo he has was a shot of the back, but I suspect a 360 or 420. From the photo the car appears to be grey or black with black or grey stripes. His father is not yet a Club member, so if you see him, you know what to do...

Today lunchtime in Westmount Road, Eltham.

Rob at BOSS RACING uses an adhesive used in the aviation industry to glue the gasket as it is more resistant to deterioration caused by the fuel. Can't remember its name... Peter
-
Chris - I'd never trust a shiny person in a Seven...

Heading south with full hood up. Saw you at 1120 ish today. We were heading northwards in the tintop into torrential rain. Peter

Aah. Thanks Ian. (I don't do FB.)

The roller barrels on my K R300 are only adjustable in pairs as far as I can remember.
I haven't needed to balance them for some time.

Well done Chris. It looks like you hooked up that run pretty well.

TP are a well known and respected make of garden play equipment.

Similar to this https://www.tptoys.com/swings/tp-triple-metal-swing-set.htm
It currently has a swing, spin rope and old 2 seat swing boat attached but these will be removed as they are grotty and the buyer will wish to replace with new equipment.

It could have been Symmo and me returning from Hethel although there was also a Gulf coloured Seven with us. Peter

I have a RiF low CF aeroscreen. I use a car air vent mobile phone holder - I use the TomTom Go app on my phone - and use the bottom of the aeroscreen on the scuttle like an air vent blade. It is positioned on a thin foam bed to the left of the ACES shift lights and just to the left of the steering wheel up against the edge of the scuttle to give room behind the wheel for gloved hands. It might be worth speaking to Julian Adams at ACES (01206395324) to give you a pointer or two. A very helpful chap. Peter
