  1. There is plenty of poke with a carb'd fireblade donk. Easy to wire in, get a dash blank and just put in the bike clocks with the spedo hidden. Plenty of places to buy flanges to replace the sprocket, a custom 2 piece prop and suitable centre bearing. Don't bother about reverse. Put a push bike speedo in, illuminated by a high output led and thrash the life out of it.

    Don't believe those that have never even driven one that will tell you how it will never work. It does, and it is a brilliantly bonkers way to enjoy a seven.

    All the best

  2. I definately have one, yours for postage/gonads

    Also have the rest of the std exhaust (with a slightly blowing can) that you can have too for gratis, if you want.

    I'm near Warrignton in the NW.

  3. Saw this on another site, anyone want to offer an opinion as to how it might effect the handling?

    PS How goes your Vel-Static? Nearly bought a 3.0 V6 Initiale the other day, but the current Mrs BB was not keen on having a 'spare' car cluttering the place up.

  5. you might want to put which model of footpack it is, as they are interchangeable.

    roofbox.co.uk S60 bar spec

    Sounds like a good deal anyway, about 1/2 price of new, and unless you have been using them to knock in nails they never really wear out.

  6. Lovely low miles 5th Gen Prelude.

    Currently on 37,800 miles.

    12 month MOT and 6 months tax from Sat 14th May.

    2 previous owners.

    non-smokers car.

    All standard, with the sole exception of an aftermarket head unit that takes an aux input.

    Everything works, nothing leaks.

    Good points;

    Like new,

    Non-smokers car,

    No rust,

    No scratches to metalwork (mega light scuff on rear bumper, but you have to get close to see it.)

    Original complete tool roll,

    4 brand spanking new Uniroyal tyres (when I bought it they were 3 different brands and I don't like that),

    Private plate,

    Averages around 32/34mpg on my work run.

    Bad points;

    There is a small mark (car park ding) at the back of the drivers door.

    I quite like her but I have been offered first refusal on a lovely SAAB 900 Ruby Edition and need to move quick.

    I'm near Warrington.

  7. I understand that efficient/better burn advantages are for the Diesel, not especially for the petrol.

    As for running your racecar on it, if it is set-up to run 95 pump fuel it should be fine.

    Clearly any response that I give on the matter is solely my opinion, and does not reflect Shell's or anyone else's come to that. Hell, I don't even work in the retail bit!

  8. Not a rebrand, I understand that Euro 95 fuelsave has a new and unique friction reducer, that works particurlarly when the engine is cold and oil is not moving freely, reducing energy loss during the cold cycle. There are a few more cleaning components that are different to the old 95 stuff too.

    I must admit, 1 litre per tank is not going to set the world on fire, but the independently tested cleaning properties of the fuel has been well researched and for my money is worth it. Especially when my 2 Shell stations are as cheap as the local supermarkets.

    PS I currently do have an affiliation to the company in question, but not for much longer ☹️

  9. Good point, not 100% on what mine were apart from being on 13" Anthracites 6"'s and 8"'s.

    Must have been 185 x 60 and 205 x 60, although they look a bit bigger than that on my pics.
