  1. a big thanks to to James and the team, an excellent trackday, I felt the decision to stick with the groups to 4 pm was the right one, the last hour was a joy in almost dry conditions, albeit for that driveshaft.!!!I hope the very few that had car problems, can get back up and running swiftly. Kevin

  2. i have booked the circuit, £70  per car for the day, you can run two laps at a time, regular circuit format or figure 8, your choice, Lots of run time. , need cash up front to secure places, fun day out, no experience needed, club competitors welcome, one car on track only at one time. Please Get in touch if you are interested, regards Kevin.

  3. It's a long time ago now but when I built mine in the early nineties I remember on the top mounting brackets on the de dion where the radius arm connects to the De dion were touching the chassis tubes when the car was loaded. When I enquired about this at the factory their answer was to "put it on the lower one then." so it's been there for 24 years.

  4. Paul, without looking at my can I'm not certain, but, I think it may go through a bit of ally that acts as a ledge for the boot floor to sit on this is riveted across the rear bulkhead, it is on the vertically bent down part, not visible inside the boot until you remove the boot floor panel, the brake line then goes up the tunnel to the union with the brake light switch.

  5. My swirl pot is bespoke design, fits behind on the rear bulkhead(outside) behind the drivers seat, pumps are on the other side, also on the bulkhead, the return from the rail feeds into the filler neck, I also fitted a large air bleed valve, the type that closes if you go upside down, this is also fitted on an elbow on the ally filler neck.

  6. Now the alan. On the return to the expansion tank do you have the plastic restrictor in place. Have you replaced this pipe, check if there was a restrictor in the old one if you haven't thrown it away. Small plastic or aluminium blank around 15 mm long with perhaps a 2 mm hole. My car suffers exactly those symptoms if this is not fitted. Will see if I can find info in archive.

  7. Good day if a little wet this morning, thanks too Andy, merrick and the rest of the organisation team. Thanks also to Simon Rogers from meteor Motorsport for the advice regarding set up and corner weighing.

  8. yesterday on A60 bradmore, passed you in the morning(wooly hat). Then passed you coming home, looking a bit warmer, exactly the same spot. I flashed my lights, you probably thought the regular speed camera was in Bunny!
