New gasket fitted, supplied by Mr Redline Chris, thanks. Also checked hoses and all good with no splits or perishing.

Got the honeycomb floor up and gasket is totally gone, time for a replacement. No one in the east grinstead area got a spare one kicking about they would like to sell??
Thanks all

Smell of petrol when I open the garage, only the caterham in there and no visible signs of a leak, seems worse in the boot, any ideas before I start pulling stuff apart? Thanks.

I have 5x Avon ZV3 tyres 185/60/r14, 4 with good tread and one spare that's never been used, they are old (about 14 years) so wouldn't advise on road use, (although i was using them last year with no problems), but would be great for hooning around and donuts. pick up only or can deliver if local to East Grinstead, Thanks. Dom

Thanks Jonathon, there is a small length of wire sticking out of the plug so I'll be getting another diode and soldering it to this leg using a heat shunt to save melting the plastic. Think I've found the diode, a 1N4006 zenner, at a cost of 9p it's probably the cheapest fix I'll have to do on the 7.
-
Sorry to high jack but just taken my rev counter out to locate wires for change up light and one of the diodes has broken off from the connector not leaving enough to reconnect, other than the green light not flashing in the display and no audible beep everything seems fine, will this cause any issues? Indicators still work.

Hi,
If it's just so you don't see the amber light behind the clear leans then why not try 'mirrored' bulbs? i have them on mine and you can't see them when not in use but flash amber when indicating. Got mine from Halfords.

Coming away from Hartfield towards Wythiham today, i was the hot sweaty bloke in the pool van waving

I have recently fitted Toyo R888R's to my 1.4k and so far been very happy with them although i am comparing them to 13 year old ZV3's, have been told the R888R's last about 8000 miles but i suppose it depends a lot on how and where it's driven, as i do about 1000 miles a year i don't mind spending the money every 8 years or so
