If the technology gods are on my side there may be access to the photos I took on Sunday.

A slickly run event as usual. I would like to echo Michael's comments regarding the organisation and to wish the young man all the best on his special birthday.
It was my first event for quite a while and despite the early nerves I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was made to feel welcome by competitors old and new. They obviously looked at my times and realised that I posed no threat.
Thanks all.

Tony, you are just being silly. The size of the petrol bowser that would also need to be towed would leave no room for the Caterham!

What a shame that you will not be in the paddock this year. It was always a pleasure having a chat. I hope that you and Charlotte have a great time doing whatever it is that you do.
I guess you must have been frightened by my return!
All the best.

I thought that was self evident, it has never been near one!

When I highlight the address and then right click it gives me the option to open. If you are not getting that then sorry but you are entering territory beyond my technical expertise!

Can I take the opportunity of thanking everybody who took part in the Championship finale last weekend. From a spectators point of view it was great to watch those decisive performances and congratulations to everyone for teh show, particularly on Saturday when the weather was less than clement and made me glad I was just watching.
The camaraderie and banter was well displayed throughout the weekend and hopefully I shall see more of that next year.
Being a technical troglodyte I am not sure if the link to an album of snaps that I took will work but if it does please feel free to nick any pictures that may take your fancy.

Thanks again and congratulations to the winners of the different categories.

The Sandy Mount is full on Saturday, so alternative dining arrangements will need to be looked into.

It is only fair that people taking part in the Championship should be able to go to the meal. So Elaine and I will drop out to let others in.

Elaine and I are coming over to watch and would love to join you for the meal, but we would not want to take the place of current competitors. So if you fill up with people who are competing that is fine, but bear us in mind if there are any vacancies.
Thank you

I will help out. It was the biscuits wot did it!

I share Charlie's scepticism. I should have thought unbalanced and mischievous would be nearer the mark.

When I have been they have not allowed me to leave the car in the paddock overnight but you could leave it on it's trailer in the car park that is used for trailer storage at the entry to the circuit.

Surely that is a typo!

great photos Dave. Thanks.

Well done Graham, Paul and Alan for taking on the running of the Championship. I am sure you will make a great job of it, but as you say you have big boots to fill.
Thanks to Chris for all the effort he has made over the last few years to make the Championship the success that it is. Whether we will have the opportunity to play this year remains to be seen!
Many thanks to the outgoing and incoming Comp. Secs.

The Pelican Guesthouse Tacolneston will be my B&B. I tried the place John Bransfield mentioned but they had no room.

I am pleased to hear that I am not the only one who has been in complete ignorance of what has been going on within the management structure of the Club and I wish to reiterate everything that has been said about the exemplary manner in which the Speed Championship has been run whilst I have been involved over the last 5 years.
Chris has refined the Championship into an operation that is admired by the organisers of all the events we attend. He will continue to have my full support whatever he decides is right for him, but we really do not want to lose him. Team Bramall are an essential part of any Paddock where the 7 Championship rolls up.
As for David I am sure Class 2 would offer a better place for him to demonstrate is skills as I don't want to be pushed even further back.

Given my complete lack of empathy with the car this year some sort of tuition was a thought that had passed through my mind. I shall be keeping a close eye on this thread.

usually four wheels off as I recall. Some are still close to the tarmac in the photo so he obviously wasn't trying.

Chris we will not be able to attend the meal so could you please remove Elaine and I from the list. Hope you all have a great time.

I do not need a garage space, but will probably pop along just to irritate people.
