Plus one for the Wisamic lights. Easy to install and way better than the candle power of the OE lights. Got mine from Amazon for £111 the pair. At a club night car park test, my halos were brighter than regular dips.

Hi Piers, not really, no, still grippy enough for me at the speeds I go at

Hi Piers,
I went from CR500s 195/45/15 to Nankang NS2R's in 195/50/15. Had to bend one wing stay slightly (by hand) but otherwise fitted ok. Speedo went from slightly over reading to just about spot on when compared to my GPS.

I am running the Wisamic LED inserts with the Halo wired to the sidelights. E marked and I think I paid £112 for the pair, delivered.
Had them adjusted prior to the MOT, passed with no issues at all. They give a nice flat beam and I don't get flashed by every oncoming car (as I used to with the LED bulb only solution).
In the pub car park test my halos were brighter than quite a few other 7's dipped beams. Halos are wired into the sidelight circuit, using the red wire only. The black wire needs isolating with some tape.

I am running NS2Rs on 15's, replaced a worn set of CR500's. Very pleased with the performance wet and dry.
Demon Tweeks did 5 for £325 with free delivery (in lieu of club discount), so a good deal too.

Ive just got a pair of these - Wisamic 5-3/4 5.75 inch Halo LED Headlight: (Compatible with Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob Super Wide Glide Low Rider Night Rod Train Softail Deuce Custom Sportster Iron 883-Black with Angel Eyes). They were recommended to me by a couple of members who rated them highly.
Available with black or silver centres to match the light bowls - £55.99 each - e marked complete units with nice flat top dip (once adjusted obviously) - about 20 mins to fit, plug and play. The halo can be wired into the sidelight circuit if desired - I haven't attempted that as yet, it was too cold in the garage.

Gents,
JWM is Jack Webb Motorsport - it is Jacks business, not his dads.

Kit warranty commences on date of delivery of the bits to the customer, although like Scott above, I had an issue resolved FOC outside of my (then 1 year) warranty period.

Hi Scott,
My build manual (Assembly Guide) from late 2011 early 2012 states:
13. Attach the propshaft to the differential output flange using the 4 caphead bolts (polythene bag 'miscellaneous'). No washers are required. Tighten to 74Nm.
However, I was sent the Workshop notice by Sean (the old Derek) during the build.
Caterham workshop notice number 530 dated 10/2/11/states the following:
12. Attach the propshaft to the differential pinnion drive flange with 4 off M10x20 supplied in the Z - pack and torque to 60Nm.

Soft Bits for Sevens or Thundersports (Oxted Trimming) both do them - club discount from both

If you happen to have the lowered headlight brackets and still have the old ones as part of the chassis the grub screws in there fit.

At least you can save yourself the postage!

Al, forgot to add, at least you know what to do when it gives up the ghost! Remember Luxembourg?

Hi Jonathan,
Confirmed the sensors each time - using the CC supplied gold plated ones!
Like the resettable circuit breaker idea though

Probably Derek?

But you need two!

Alan, the standard wheels on your "new old" car will be fine, more than enough grip for you with CR500s on ,
(If Alan A doesn't have any in his vast stock of wheels then they are definitely not made! ).

It's not just the Chafing, they are prone to internal shorts too. Mine died in Luxembourg on days 2 of a 10 day tour. Disconnection, replacement of fuse 4th from the top and back on the road. Too expensive to carry another just in case. My 4.5 year old Duratec is on its 5th sensor. Y

My white noseband and single stripe are painted - rear panel was not included.
I bought some Halfrauds boy racer striping and cut it to fit - job done.

Followed you for a short while in a white X1 until you turned onto 7 mile lane for a quick blat into the traffic queue for the pointless temporary traffic lights.
