  2. Hi

Since my battery went completely flat whilst driving due to an alternator issue my temp gauge had been installed and fluctuating between 40 to 80deg

Any thoughts on what may have happened here

  3. Can anyone tell me what the electrical module is under the boot floor, is it the inertia cut off for the fuel pump. I ask because twice now my engine has not started, and upon investigation there is no fuel, and there is no sound of the fuel pump priming. If I disconnect and reconnect the connector to said module, fuel once again flows and the engine starts.

Could it be a faulty module or connector?

  4. Loving this snagging, I guess everyone has a few issues on the first home build

Further to a couple of issues posted earlier,I now find that the rev counter only reads up to about 1000 rpm despite the actual engine rpm. It's almost like it is reading  1/10 of actual rpm. Any ideas??

  5. Hi

i am just completing my first Caterham, a 360S and I have so far discovered 2 electrical issues.

firstly neither front indicators are working. Rears and side repeaters are both OK. The don't wok on the Hazard light switch either. I am stumped to think why both sides wouldn't work!

Second problem is the oil pressure gauge. It's reading around 2 bar with no ignition. When I turn on ignition the gauge cycles through 0 and then settles at full deflection 8 bar.  I haven't yet started the engine but cranking over with no fuel added yet gauge still reads 8 bar.

    any assistance greatly appreciated
