  1. Little update, after talking to a few garages I was not feeling that confident from the conversations about equipment not fitting the wheels properly/ overall knowledge to even check the tracking.  I've decided to get a flat floor setup to include full alignment for peace of mind. Thanks again for everyone's help.

  2. No, it was only the front left wheel, nothing involving any others so dedion was fine.

Why take the chance? The impact was under 10 mph and only touched the front left wheel.  The wheel has only a slight bit out the Ali but it was £40 more to replace with new then refurb.  The only damage was the lower aero and a nick in the tyre/ wheel.  It's cost ME £700 so far to repair from a council issue with the roads that I doubt I can claim back, and if I can it will probably be partial.  I would prefer not spending another £300 with VAT for something that currently looks fine IMO but I want to double check, hence why I am asking.  If the worst come to the worst and I'm not happy or the garage isn't, of course, I will get a full alignment if required.

  3. Not sure if anyone can help.

After hitting a pot hole and having to change my aero wishbone and wheel/ tyre, I need to find the measurements to get the tracking checked.

Everyone wants to offer me a flat floor set up or a full laser 4 wheel alignment when all I want is the front checked and adjustments if necessary as I'm not even sure it's out.  My local tyre place can do it if I get the front toe angle in mm apparently.  It's for a 620 SV.

Is this something anyone can help with? I will be trying to claim back from the council as I'm nearly £700 deep in parts already but can't confirm they will pay out; hence why I'm a bit apprehensive on spending another £225+vat on a full set up!

Any advice/ help would be appreciated.

  4. GP Sevens offer very good prices so maybe worth chatting to them to sell your car for you if it's hassle?

Privately when the first few sunny days appear and weather warms up as people get itchy feet and want to enjoy the summer!  Now is not a good time IMO.

Pistonheads is always a good shout or eBay as a classified.  Both have great exposure which will definitely help.

  5. Sigma decat for sale; recently taken off my 150 Superlight before sale.  In good overall condition, pics can be sent at request but please pm with your email.

£150 collection Surrey area near CC. Postage can be arranged at buyers cost if required.

  6. Sportage is a great car. The wife's sister had one and loved it. To give some idea from experience, my wife's mum, sister, husband and myself all now own Kia's. Wife's mum, sister and husband have for 10 years and all that's ever gone wrong in 6 cars was 1 sat nav unit under warranty.  Wife will also be joining the suit and possibly my mum too. Definitely don't rule them out as a contender.

  7. A bit off topic but thought I would ask before sticking on eBay.

I have a Hanix H08B micro digger for sale. It has expanding tracks that means it's one of the very few true door way diggers that can get through a 2'3" door.  It weighs approx 800kg. Kubota engine. 2300 low hours. Machine is a 2007 and comes with 5 buckets I believe.  It is well used but an excellent machine. I'm only selling as upgrading to a nearly new Takeuchi from my friends estate since he passed away.  Digger had a spare track, roll bar and is yellow.

I have used this digger to complete most of my extension footings on 10+ jobs and a huge number of soakaways.

Perfect if you have lots of land to maintain or want to dig your own footings.  It's hugely capable and I've chosen it over my 1.6T plenty of times due to convenience. The dig depth is approx 1.7m.

£5,500 No Vat which is absolutely bottom end of the market money for a quick sale.

Pics, video and further details via PM

  8. Very strange eh!

I did a run through to Guildford and there were a few nice cars out. Making the most of the dry weather I bet. I actually got spotted by a local detailer and someone else and received two PM's on Instagram so that made up for this *hehe*

Ive been to a few Surrey 7 meets but generally snowed under with work so only have been to a few over the last year. Be good to maybe get a morning meet somewhere like Rykas cafe or Denbies?

  9. I'm after one for work, anyone got anything they no longer require before I start the search on eBay?

I have been looking for something reasonably compact like the Spark or Mavic.

Send me a PM if you have something *clap*

  10. That was me! I saw you behind the smart car. I stopped to grab some lunch before meeting a client. Then went for a small drive through the Surrey hills. I couldn't see much of your car, hence no post in here. Reg is C7 AOO so you were nearly correct. Weather turned out nice which was a big surprise.
