My understanding is that a RiF screen is more desirable!
Ah that's even better then 😛

Would doubt that’s a Caterham part, looks too tall... is it a RiF product?
Hmmmm I got sold this few months ago as a genuine Caterham screen! 😮💨

Thanks guys, taken your advice and left the box in place.
Apart from was a pig to split the box from the engine the rest was a nice little job.
Work for tomorrow, fit the clutch and engine back in.
Many thanks all :)

Morning guys.
Time for a new clutch.
Whats easiest, remove engine and gearbox together or leave gearbox in place?
2003 K, imperial chassis.
Many thanks.

Hi guys. I’m selling my Reverie Carbon air box.
Had it on my R300k on RTB for one track day and removed straight after.
In pristine condition.
For every day road driving I love the sound of my RTB’s through the sausage air filter. I won’t be doing anymore track days this year due to house move and work commitments means quick weekend blats is the only thing I will probably manage this year
I’m looking for £510.00. Collection preferably but I can arrange postage at your cost.
Cheers.

I fitted a Raceco exhaust and a Riviera airbox to my R300 K with RTB after I had the 200+ bhp conversion done by DVA. Actually is too quite now lol. I think I might to put back my normal air filter and use the Riviera box when go to the track. Is a bit of a job though keep changing it over!

Hi Ben, yest it's your old car mate :)
-
Thanks David.
Sorry I did mention that it came off my R300 K on my first post. Not sure what other info I can give really but I try. It came out of a 2003 S3 R300 and it has the 2 bolt fixing to the primaries as showing on the picture.
David if there is something I missed please let us know.
Thanks

As above. Just taken off a Goodfabs silencer with build in cat and cat bypass of my R300 K.
Recently repacked with Acousta-Fil packing. The silencer has a slight dent on the front face but not really that noticable. I have taken a picture of it.
V camp included.
Looking for £295.00 collected please from Taunton in Somerset area. I can probably post at buyers expense.

Thanks David all great explanation and more I have learned. Fascinating reading mate thank you.
I be checking my primaries and then making decision. The cars performance is great as it is and not sure how much of a difference a 4-2-1 will make. If it's a full sytem is not something I want to stomach right now though.
Many thanks.
-
Oily thanks very helpful and you might saved me from an expensive mistake.
I will be chacking my primaries some time today.
Many thanks
-
Thanks Stu.
Looking at Caterhams parts store the 4-2-1 collector looks almost the length of an 4-1 collector due to extra pipes to reduce it from 2-1. Out of stock though and seems like hens teeth!
