Any tips to protect chipped paintwork please on the chassis. Some of the powder coating has come off?

Thanks all, I'll give it a go.

Evening,
My near side front cycle wing flew off on track recently, I have a replacement but can someone point me in the direction on how to install the thing, it's on a 2022 Academy Car, looks a combination of some kind of glue and rivet?
Thanks

Yes noise is a real shame, I managed to get my 420R passed there before but only by keeping revs lower on static test and stating it had a new engine so couldn't go higher!

Morning all,
Apologies if this isn't allowed here but does anyone want to join an exclusive Caterham only Thruxton track day next week, with another later in March. The Caterham chap who arranges it needs a few more people to join, currently only about 15 cars on track for each day:

Chris fantastic detail, I couldn't remember what you said on track!
I do have an issue whereby the car runs too rich at start and doesn't idle without throttle input for 10 or so minutes, warm or cold. Could explain it.
The car is only used once a month on track days so isolating the battery is the best bet combined with a battery maintainer.

Anyone know where I can buy brake bias hoses for an SV?
I've got a valve kit but it's for a standard chassis and the hoses aren't long enough.
Thanks, Paul

Yes every possible option. Thanks everyone, I think the main takeaway is there is no gain from leaving it on!

Interested to know peoples views on whether it's better to turn it off every time I get out of the car or only if the car is to be left for some weeks?
A fellow owner spotted me turning it off when I got out the car on track and told me how it's better for the performance if I leave it on. We didn't go into any detail. I only turn it off by habit after leaving my lights on once and running down the battery.
Thoughts?

Very helpful John thanks

Thanks for the advice. I'm in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Never been to my local meet but I guess this is a good excuse.

Apologies if this is a stupid question but my 420R is coming up for its first MOT, it's been well maintained by a specialist but for ease Id ideally like to just take it to a friendly local test centre, what's peoples views on whether I'm asking for trouble?
Brake Fluid Change Question
in TechTalk

This will be a stupid question I'm sure, how do I change the brake fluid when the existing fluid is quite new and looks the same, i.e. do I empty the system of all fluid first, if not how do I tell when the new stuff is coming through?
