Apologies, have been travelling for work over the last couple of weeks. Working on the results now!

We have a new entrant, welcome Callum 🙂
(have swapped 508/608 and removed Roger from the list 😞 - no other changes made)
-
Ah yes, good spot. I do need to swap 508 and 608 as well
-
Paul might be in denial though, as he ticked the 'no' box for the veterans championship in his registration (which I pulled straight through into this list) 🙂
I'll update now. Anyone else pretending they are younger than they are ?!
-
Hi Paul - yes, good spot. Have updated the list so you are 610 instead. Although as you came 4th and Rebecca 5th last year it's a relatively small change.
Also, have added Sean Toms to the list as he entered just after I pulled the latest list and updated Jeremy's vets entry. Updated list is below with no other changes:
-
Hi Jeremy - yes, any score after your 60th birthday counts so you'll be good all season. On the entry there was a vets field that I think was ticked 'no' on yours, but no problem making the change and adding you to the vets championship.
The competition is tough though, Paul won't be giving his title up easily 🙂

Hi all
I've made a few changes based on feedback from the provisional numbers that I put up. You can now ignore the provisional numbers and take these as the ones for the season. I have left some gaps to allow later entries to try and slot in the right place. Red highlights are entries not yet registered but we are expecting them to come.
We have a novice this year - welcome Rhona 🙂 - dual driving with Richard Young.
We'll update the individual entries in the competitor section, so use this list as definitive for now.

Thanks Nick - the entries had you in Class 5 and Julia in Class 4. I had pinged Julia to check but assumed the mistake was on her entry and you both were in Class 5 again this year. I'll shuffle so you're both in Class 4 🙂

One mistake - lewis will be 564, not 565

Hi all
Here's my suggested numbering for the season. Could you check and make sure that I haven't made any mistakes?
I have left some gaps in the sequence for late comers to slot in to the right positions based on last season's results. I would like to finalise mid next week so we have everything for the first round. Once finalised, I'll post here and put the numbers in the right place on the website as well.
There are two numbers in red. I've allocated them as they are highlighted as dual drives, but they haven't registered yet. They need their own registration - let me know if there are any issues there.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Oliver
Don't worry about the tyres as the available list is the same between Class 4 and Class 5 so changing is no issue (as long as whatever you choose is from List 1A or 1B. For power, you can definitely change depending on the Dyno results - if its 220bhp or less, that would drop you down to Class 4. If more than 220, then you'd remain in Class 5.
For numbering, I'll put you in Class 5 for now. If you are in Class 4, that would change your competition number as we try and keep the numbers associated to classes, so we can run on the day in class order.
Do you know when you'll have the results? No issue, I'll just make the adjustments in the spreadsheet to put you in the right place.

Hi all
Just a plea to get your entries in soon to help me complete the numbering for the year. I'm going to publish the number list next week and as usual it will based on class results from last year (no mistakes this time). While I'll try to leave enough gaps in the number sequences to make it work, I can't guarantee that you'll get a number that reflects last season's performance if you're too late entering. Of course, no matter when you enter I'll allocate a number in the right class range, just that tardy entries might not quite be where you want in the sequence.
Looking forward to the season!

Might be a bit late if you've already done it Lewis, but looking at the MSA 2024 Blue Book, section J (general vehicle regs), para 5.14.1, this is the statement for batteries in the driver / passenger compartment:
"Any wet Auxiliary batteries in driver/passenger compartment must be enclosed in a securely located leak-proof container. "
Section S which deals with Sprint & Hillclimb regs doesn't have anything specific about battery regulations that I can see (it deals with electrical isolators etc).

As I post the results from each round, it will be automatically posted in the forum as well. Don't worry, nothing has changed from the end of the season, its just that moving between the old and new forums meant that we lost my previous post with the detailed results from the season so I've reposted them.
Not long till 2024 starts 🙂

Hi Nico - is that big white mark on the nosecone a scratch?
-
Unfortunately not - family stuff is getting in the way at the moment. Could be the next event for me is the end of season meal!
More brownie points to be earned and spent I think :)

Great photos, thanks for posting Michael - and thanks to Stuart for taking them

Looks like I'll be glued to the forecast till Saturday evening. One benefit of class 2 is the tyres aren't bad in the wet. Or hopefully the mud if I make an excursion into the wheat field!
