I was talking about these the other day but being new to caterhams I know nothing! How much is the complete setup?

No worries Alex was just wondering. I’ve heard the 4-2-1 are a must if upgrading to more power (i’ve Been reading through the DVA site myself) I was just surprised at the price for the system compared to my previous cars. They do look nice in the pics though, especially over the one I currently have. Maybe one day....

Seems very expensive to me (even with the discount) for what is essentially a very small system. I’ve had full stainless exhausts (with some stunning manifolds) made before for much less. I’m new to caterhams and I’m Not meaning any offence, just genuinely curious as to why it’s priced as it is. Captive audience?

I’ve just purchased my first caterham. Within two weeks I changed all the lights to LEDs from JAL. Rear light units, fog, reverse, number plate, wing repeaters and front indicators (and of course the relay). What a difference. All were virtually plug and play and the difference between them and standard are unreal. Worth every single penny. I know there are cheaper alternatives out there but for quality, and ease of figment the JAL ones are worth the extra.
Just need to do the headlights now...

Hi. Is this a long shower cap (covering the bonnet vents)?
thanks
mike.

Thanks thanks for all the info and advice. I’m told my 2006 car is an imperial chassis, does that mean ALL nuts and bolts on the car are imperial? Or like Tony P above are some fittings metric?
-
Yeah everyone has said that! I don’t know if it’s just me or if the wider SV screen has a different effect but I can happily do 70mph on the motorway without doors (albeit with an earplug in my right ear). I spent two days driving all over with no doors.
I don't get any any of the hard breathing problems that I’ve heard of.

Hi all.
New to the club and this is only my second post so please accept my apologies if this is in the wrong place, I’m still finding my way around.
I’ve ordered a pair of spa mirrors from demon tweaks as I’d like to run without doors whenever possible but would obviously still like to see behind me.
I’ve read to screw it into the centre screen fixing I will need a longer screw to accommodate the mirror base thickness. I’d like to pre order these longer screws so I can fit the mirrors when they arrive in a couple of days.
Does anyone know what thread i’ll Need or where I can get them easily in advance?
Thank you
Mike.
