  1. I have checked the archives with no success, I have since got another email saying just to check the gearbox oil in a couple of months but other than that it's fine. Not filling me with confidence to here just drive it on.
  2. This is the response I got from Millwood caterham about a pic I sent them about a very small oil leak.

"It's coming from the speedo drive, which on later cars (as yours) is blanked off with a bolt. Very unusual to see a dry one – what you are seeing is normal and much better than most.

Can anyone shed any more light should I check oil level somewhere and just drive it on?

  3. I was having my doubts. My alloys will be the anthracite 15" and lime green. So I think I will give it ago if it doesnt look good then I can take it off. The only problem Im having is matching the colour of my caterham which will be roulette green and I think I can only get Kawasaki green or lime green in the strip.

  4. Exactly like that ive seen them both on the tyres and on the alloy rim. Im thinking a super thin line if it doesnt look good then I can just take them off.
  5. Anyone any experience with putting or having tyre strips on the wall of their tyres?

Was going to put ine single thin strip around each tyre think they they can bring the whole car together.

  6. They are to bulky my ocd wont allow them :( similar with the velcro although great on the carpet I might use them their although not on the dash. Progress being made thanks :)
  7. Ive seen walltastic I think thats what its called for not leaving marks on walls when sticking posters up but wouldnt get enough of a mechanical hold on the wires :(
  8. Easily removable ill be using my phone for sat nav but wont need it all the time I had thought of something similar to blu tac (obviously not actual blu tac) that you can easily replace but can choose as much or as little depending on where the wire needs held eg on a corner. Maybe its just a pipe dream lol.

  9. Anybody no of a good product for sticking loose wires away around the dash so they are less noticeable? For sat nav phone chargers and the like.

  11. What should a roadsport 1.6 ford sigma 150 bhp s.v warmed up sit at? What should it comfortably rev to in most gears still giving good response?

It only has 6000 miles im looking at getting it at the start of may.

    Regards Craig

  12. Im buying a car at the end of the month and it has low profile tyres in the pics. (Im not sure what they are yet) im concerned they will be far to slippy for me as its my first time driving a caterham ill have about 300miles to get bk to n.ireland. Its a 150 roadsport. Should I ask the dealer to swap them out for a normal profile tyre ?

  13. Hi im buying if everything is fine a 2010 caterham 150 roadsport with 8000 miles on the clock its a 1.6 ford sigma engine s.v body.

Anything about the 150bhp to look out for? All so what roughly (very) should the emissions be? Trying to calculate the car tax for it here in n.ireland.

The s.v body new is £2500 extra does that come with the lowered floors? Or is that more again.

    Regards Craig

  14. Hi about to buy a caterham at the end of the month. 150 roadsport s.v its a 1.6 ford sigma engine, any idea what the emissions would be roughly (very) its 2010 with 8000 miles. Any known concerns with these paticular models.

    Thanks Craig

P.s does it cost more for lowered floors when purchased new or is that normally built into the s.v cost of £2500?
