  2. I had a misfire problem so was advised to unplug the water temperature sensor and lambda sensor also to see if it made any difference, it went away and now runs fine. My question is would it be o.k. to continue to run with both sensors unplugged or do i need to replace one or the other a.s.a.p. ? (Rover k series 1.8) Ive been on the caterham site for replacement and guess what? they are out of stock. Anywhere else I can source a suitable temp gauge?

  3. Hi All, I recently done a trackday and decided to swap my standard caterham wheels with tread tyres & replaced with wheller steel wheels with zz's tyres for more grip. The sprigots in the wheel centres were oversize so when tightened all the load was taken purly on the bolts as they didnt seat properley. I was told that this was unsafe to drive in anger. What are anybodys thoughts?

  4. Ah I only have the one im afraid, my son-in-law re-fitted the engine recently and we were left with the remaining throttle body stay. I recon we should have fitted both stays first then attached the hoses last not the other way around cos we just cant see where it bolts onto the block. Is that correct?

  5. Problem solved!!  carefully disassembled new and old throttle cables, unscrewed old square end and placed onto new threaded end at same distance, carefully pushed through and reassembled then fitted, jobs a goodun !!
